Founded in 1960 in Bologna, GAIT has built a solid market presence over the years thanks to its strong focus on innovation and the high quality of its products.
In 2022, GAIT became part of the Kintek Group, a national market leader, further expanding its product offering through the sharing of an extensive catalog range.

Kintek headquarter is located in Mappano, close to Turin in Italy. The site consists of two buildings, for a total development of 2.900 sqm, hosting about 30 employees. Kintek main finished good warehouse is located here, very close to our production plant for small to mid size toolholders, for both turning and milling applications.
In our 3.200 sqm factory in Bologna (Gait plant), we produce toolholders for milling applications and machine tool accessories. 25 people are working in the site and an ancillary finished good warehouse ensures best service to customers located in this industrially strategical area.
Bekescsaba plant, in Hungary, is our biggest site (more than 5.000 sqm and 50 employees) and is focused on manufacturing of turning toolholders, both static and driven, vices and milling toolholders from mid to big size.
